I am fully expecting this to be a great movie, but it was just an ok book for me.

I have always loved the movie, but having never read the book I was curious how closely the two were. Aside from minor changes with characters omitted, and the ending itself, the movie was a faithful adaptation, and the book was as equal in greatness to the movie for me. This was a win.
