This book was wilddd. Here are my thoughts :
Pros
✰ Very quick read, never really bored
✰ Some pretty good twists - I predicted who was involved, but not how
✰ The last 20 or so pages were the best part (since that's when you really see what happened lol)
Cons
✰ I DESPISED Adam omg one of the most annoying MMC's I've ever read - as soon as you think he couldn't make another dumb decision, he makes 10 more lol
✰ One of the twists of someone that was involved was weird & came out of no where for me
✰ Also I literally wanted to slap Eleanor across the face so many times lol
Overall Thoughts
Can your spouse honestly be your lawyer in a murder trial?? Never heard of that before but super interesting concept & executed really well. But I do feel like this story would've been more entertaining if it were told DURING the trial. Like all the twists & people that were involved were revealed as the trial was going on if that makes sense (then maybe some flashback chapters through different people's POV's)? Pretty good book, not blown away though like Booktok promised. If you want a fast-paced thriller that you could read in a day, then this is for you!
