Imagine the DCOM Starstruck meets the Brady Bunch, but make it a teenage rebellion, and a novel.
At first, I thought the book was a bit predictable... but it wasn't until the very end that I realized that had already read this book a few years ago, so that's probably why I thought it was predictable. That being said I still absolutely adored this book. The humor was just absolutely perfect and I loved all of the characters so so so much (especially Cash, who I consider my personal spirit animal).
"you've been my hero as much as i've been yours"
I was really excited to see a known celebrity's POV on this, and it did not disappoint. It definitely changed my view on the life of celebrities, and I will cherish this book for years (but I will never forgive it for the heartbreak that ending caused) <333
This book changed my life. and i really mean it.
I admit it, first i bought it because i was watching glee and Chris is the author, i really had no idea what was about. But i started reading it, i was impressed. In a very good way.
I loved every part of it. And yes, i know it isn't perfect, but that's the point. This book opened my eyes in some way, it made me realise that wht i see in the celebrities is not the truth. And thta everyone has secrets, even the most opened and transparent people. Of the things i know about Chris, i could see him in these pages, and i surely want to know how much of the things that happened it this were real.
I loved this book so much. I've enjoyed Chris Colfer's writing for a while now, but this book was absolutely amazing. It's been a long time since I've read a book in just two days, but I couldn't put this one down.
I love the diverse cast of charactors who are all dealing with different issues and all seem so realistic. And what a heartbreaking, but beautiful ending. Part of the ending I already saw coming because of the hints in earlier chapters, but I still really love it. I had tears in my eyes when I read the second to last chapter.
