Listening to Mistborn in audio is a commitment, but I'm listening to it for the first time alongside my husband, who's already read them and is nobly holding back from telling me spoilers.
I love a fantasy. I love world building. I love a heist. This hits those sweet spots. The worldbuilding is very nicely scaffolded and sometimes Sanderson just drops another detail that turns everything upside down.
The story of a street rat who becomes powerful is classic, and I love Vin's journey. Her paranoia, her power, her loyalty, and her evolution.
But I have so many unanswered questions! I guess that's why this is a trilogy in an enormous series. I expect there will be answers and more questions in my future.
