Been a while since I completed this book but just a while ago, I was thinking about it. When I finished "The Finisher" and picked this one up and read the description of the book, I thought that this would be the book of the Dark Verse series which I won't like becuase of all the human traficking and all.
However, after reading few scenes of it for the second time, I can say that this book is the one which made me cry the most out of the whole series.
Lyla just became the character which I love the most. I know this is all fictional and she is fictional but there are actual people who are at Lyla's place and going through all that.
And guess what, they don't even have the shadowman to save them.
