I know this may not be a big deal for anyone or a legit reason for you to purchase the novel (the novella is part of a 99c bundle with books 1-4 for a limited time), but I was SO happy when I found out Iris and Liam were both Cancerians. As a fellow Cancerian, I harder EVER see people with this sign in novels (not sure why). Usually it's Scorpios or Gemini's, but yeah, go L.H. for mentioned the moody sign.
Okay the review. I quite loved this novella and getting to know Iris's character. I love strong female lead and Iris was quite a refreshing character to read about. She's a girl who wants to remain in the shadows, but working at restaurant owned by a Cross brother won't let you be that way.
Especially if Liam is a frequent visitor to such restaurant.
I quite loved this pairing, and it wasn't exactly a "forbidden" romance that is true to L.H. other novels in the series, but because it was normal was great. It's also a wonderful novella to prepare for the next novel, Hearts of Air.
SO MANY FEELS!?!?!?!??!!!?!?
