Gabo has this thing and is that he always makes me angry. I just can't avoid it. I dont know how this book is read in English, but in Spanish it's a constant mockery.
The story is sad and heart breaking and completely unfair, but we all know he is a master writing that kind of stories.
I started reading and I immediately knew what was gonna happen, he lets you know from the beginning that is going to be sad, but that's not what bothers me, it's the way he tells the story that makes me lose it.
"I'm gonna make this character suffer, I'm telling you that he is gonna suffer, I'm gonna make you suffer, yes, theres nothing u can do about it and I'm enjoying your suffering a lot muahahahahaha" that's how I perceive him when I'm reading his books, like he is making fun of his readers. And that pisses me off.
Over all, it was magnificent as always, he gets my emotions out and makes me think about his stories over and over again. Gabo is one of the best writers in history.
