~ ~ "Princess, we were so wrong for making you think you needed to change who you were, who you were with US, just because we were too afraid of what others would think. We should have stood beside you instead of hiding behind you." ~ ~ What happens when those that you love the most abandon you and leave you to suffer one of the most horrific violations one could endure? How do they reconcile what they've done and the damage they've inflicted on the one person they were meant to love and protect? Atonement is their first priority ~ then they have to earn back the trust they decimated. ~ ~ ~ ATONE is a reverse harem novel, which means that the main character won't have to choose who she ends up with. This is a MFMM 18+ that has elements some may find triggering. Please read the trigger warning at the beginning of the book, and if you find any topics that you think will push you, please don't read. I will warn you that the main trigger of this book is sexual violence. It's a large part of the book, so if that's a no go, please don't put yourself in the position to be uncomfortable. Please note that even though the topics are heavy, the sexual violence is not perpetrated by our leading men.

This is a story of love, betrayal, atonement, and finding your way back. The story starts with Haisley, Anthony, Corey, and Bryant having already formed their RH, but they are in high school and the whispers, comments, and looks aren’t easy to handle. Then graduation night happens, and while at a party the guys end up leaving Haisley in a nightmare situation. When they see Haisley a couple years later, as she is starting to find herself again is starting college. The guys realize the enormity of their mistakes, and vow to try to make it up to her and to help her heal. I love that while the majority of the focus is on Haisley And helping her heal, we also get to see the guys realize their own damage and see them grow and heal too. I hurt for Haisley, and the pain that she goes through. I really liked that she wasn’t an in your face type FMC, and the guys really realize their mistakes based on her reactions and twisted thought. I loved seeing them start to communicate and heal together.

PS - definitely check the trigger warnings - the story does describe a noncon assault by someone outside the harem in detail, and it is discussed throughout
