In the captivating and small town of Willow Hills is where I chose to make a fresh start. I’m an artist, you know. But instead, I run into a familiar face from college days and he’s a bad boy billionaire. I barely recognize Raymer from the tattoos and ear piercing. And he’s commissioned ME to create art pieces for his new lounge and café venture. On top of that, I didn’t know he used to date my roommate. Now I’m getting mushy over an apology that’s come years too late. And when I look up, I realize he’s standing so close to me that if I stand on my tippy toes, our lips will touch. I’m scared he’ll betray my heart again. I remind myself how I hated him since what he did to me back in High School. But frolicking with other girls to keep up his bad boy image may have just been a show. He’s confessing he always had eyes for me but was too scared to make it a reality…until now.

And I don’t break my promises. So when he comes back into the picture I have no choice. I ask my nanny to pretend to be my wife so we look like a real family. I wasn’t the type to fawn over women. But the way Mia stares at me with those electric blue eyes has me paralyzed. She’s not just arm candy either. She’s intelligent and knowledgeable too. Her full lucious lips are so inviting it makes me want to nibble on them all day. When she kisses me I can feel that she feels the same way if not more. I’ve fallen hard for her. And I always get what I want.

My job was simple…Get the interview of the biggest bosshole in the tech industry, write the report, then head home. Nevermind he’s the brother of my best friend. The boy who terrorized me back in school not so long ago. I could kick myself for agreeing to this interview. Trent has known two things in the Technology can be molded in your hands easily and so could women. So when I find myself trapped in a room with him during a power outage, we’re forced to pass the time together. He wasn’t supposed to make my heart skip a beat. It has been quite the turn of events since yesterday. One minute I’m dreading my interview with Trent and the next I’m willing to defend him to the point of losing my job. Fingers crossed it doesn’t come to that.
