Dans sa prison, Ryû se laisse dépérir et refuse de manger. Elle révèle à son amie, Jo, qu'elle se meurt d'amour, et promet à cette dernière de reprendre des forces si elle peut revoir l'homme qu'elle aime. Jo essaie alors par tous les moyens d'entrer en contact avec cet humain. Mais elle est surveillée de près par la garde royale... Ryû lui demande une deuxième faveur : lui ramener une pilule qui la ferait devenir humaine. C'est en voulant cacher cette pilule à la garde royale que Jo l'avale par accident. Se rendant compte des conséquences de cet acte, elle fonce vers la surface de l'océan, fuyant la garde qui la poursuit d'arrache-pied. Une fois son but atteint, elle est aidée par Yuki, qui la remonte à la surface... Mais Yuki et Jo parviendront-ils à sauver Ryû ?
