Books I finally want to read instead of need to read for my booklist on high school. I try to read one classic per month.

The Dutch literary canon changes every 5 years, this is the list of 2025

The Dutch literary canon is a collection of literary works deemed the greats of Dutch literature. The list includes all original Dutch works, not restricted to works from the Netherlands. Titles become eligible only when an author has passed away.

Important note: the original list counts 50 titles, due to restrictions in form and Pagebound restrictions, this list is not complete.
