Until Hunter Harwell turns me upside down. He’s one of Chicago’s hottest record producers. His life is all parties, artists, and trashed hotel rooms. Or so I thought. First, his moving truck destroys my bushes. Cue the crazy lady in her bathrobe! Then, he runs me down outside my favorite bookstore. I want to stay mad, but his smile has me spinning! And I can’t keep my eyes off him. After playing my knight in shining armor, I agree to one date. Now I can’t get him out of my head. When Hunter turns out to be my online hottie… My head tells me, NO. My body has other ideas. Let the war begin…

The first day that Teagan and Hunter meet in person it does not go well --- Hunter is moving in next door to Teagan and the moving truck runs over one of her azalea bushes. Even while she is yelling at him and the moving truck driver, he's still taken by her. He leaves her an orchid as a peace offering and while she wants to be mad, she sees it as the caring gesture it's meant to be. They start spending time together and slowly start falling for each other. Nothing could go wrong, right? I don't want to give away too much of the story, but there's an interesting twist on the breakup before they make up story. The grand gesture is pretty amazing too!

I liked both of the characters and completely understand how the people who had hurt them in the past impacted them and how they dealt with each other. I feel like the breakup could have been avoided if they just talked to each other, but that doesn't make for good angst and a make-up!
