Phenomenal and absolutely gripping. As far as my mind was concerned, during my reading of this book I *was* Gwen and felt every bit of her paranoia and fear and desperation. The suspense and pacing were so well done, you could never quite tell when the other shoe was gonna drop, or which way it would come from. I also really liked that the narrator/protagonist was entirely reliable and trustworthy and also smart (though not without some flaws) so the reader is genuinely trying to figure out and fight through this terrible situation alongside her without any resistance to sympathy or even empathy. I cannot wait to read the other books in this series.
