an ongoing sapphic masterlist of books (1600+)
in progress
Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.
I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.
Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.
For my favs / read, check out my other lists & shelves.
Open to suggestions for more titles.
Don't shoot the messenger.

grocery list
What are you buying at the grocery store? This list includes books that are titled after food, spanning all genres and topics. I think it's interesting how food symbolism can be used to explore themes of family, culture, status, and more. Please leave any recommendations so we can continue adding to our grocery list. (Note: I did try to limit titles to only include food. For example, I included "Lemon" but not "As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow". But I'm open to repeating titles. I mean, there are different brands for a reason ;)

It gets so hot
MUNA wrote the song it gets so hot. And these are books that feel like that song. Literally and metaphorically.
The sun or summer or heatwave is a character or an oppressive force. Or the city of LA is a character or an oppressive force or a key setting. Or a combo of both. Or itβs a book MUNA have recommended. Or itβs just a bit steamy π₯΅

1001 books by women
Britta Bohler, an Austrian booktuber who solely posts on books written by women, made a list of 1001 books to read before you die written by only by female authors ,as a response to all the lists that were being released at the time by critically acclaimed sources and included in the list about 70-90% male authors. This is me slowly reading that list.
