A collection of books by Irish authors that I've loved or am looking forward to!

This list is about fictional families which break your heart, make your heart and reveal parts of you, you never knew existed. Its about love and dysfunction and how they often come packaged together.

This list is about historical fiction books as they often make the characters or their interactions feel so real even if there is a bit of fiction.

basically my favorite genre that encompasses a lot of other genres. all very different in tone! i have not yet read all of these.

Standalone books worth a read or repeat!

Sometimes history can make our hearts race and threaten our future.

These are books where, even though it seems like the family ties are broken beyond repair, the messy and sometimes down right hurtful wounds gets healed. (From any genres, if it made me feel healed family vibes it is here)
