Her heart will never belong to anyone else. Finley Twenty years ago, Rynn abandoned me to an abyss without her. Her betrayal haunts me more than any ghost at my manor ever could. Years of grief and suffering have even changed my face. But now I’ve found her. She’s hiding in a den of iniquity, working as a courtesan under a false name. She won't recognize me or the scars that her actions caused—not until it’s too late. My cage is ready for her inside my haunted estate. Rynn’s heart is mine, and I intend to break it. Rynn I found a man hiding out in my room. I should have known better than to trust him, but there was a beautiful darkness to him that captivated me. He had the saddest eyes I’d ever seen. He was just a pretty devil in disguise. If Finley thinks he can trap me for long inside a cage, even a gilded one, he will rue the day. I always give as good as I get. He can have my heart if he wants it so badly. The organ is nothing but a nuisance. This Haunted Heart features a morally gray hero facing off against a morally gray heroine set during the Gilded Age with a paranormal twist. It contains mature themes, an intense trauma bond, and banter that never quits. Perfect for readers craving a touch of gothic in their historical romance.

I'm still lost for words to be able to describe the emotional toll this book had on me 😭 I love Rynn and Loch. They had such horrible childhoods, but loved each other so much and made such dumb decisions. 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒃𝒂𝒅𝒍𝒚, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆— 𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒔. Hindsight is always 20/20 and I feel that's exactly how Rynn felt. I loved her character so much, and honestly if I were in Loch's shoes, my ass would hold a grudge too😂 𝑯𝒖𝒓𝒕 𝒎𝒆, 𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒎𝒆— 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒆. 𝑰’𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒖𝒏𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒂𝒚𝒔. 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆. This Haunted Heart gave Romeo & Juliet vibes but with an added HEA after all the tears and grief (because y'all already know I cried through this whole book 🥲) "𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝑰’𝒎 𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒕 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔." The ghost aspect was a little creepy, but only knowing what could happen if they weren't respected. I was on such an emotional ride with this book and cannot wait to reread it🥹
