This book is a story of transitions, but it doesn't suffer from middle book syndrome at all. We get more bonding between Rhi, Stone & Azlan. We also see Rhi realize that she has more fated mates as well (gosh, girl, leave some for the rest of us!) and learn more about Tristan, Spencer and Renzo. I can't wait to see how they are all going to co-exist given there are several strong personalities in that collection (not to mention Rhi). I freaking love Pip and how he doesn't like anyone right away, preferring to see how he and Rhi get treated to make his decisions.

There is so much angst (arggghhh the tension!!) that it's a good thing that we get a little spice to balance it out!! There's an enemy who still isn't clear but appears to be deadly serious about eliminating Rhi. The broody fated mate bunch is on the case, but can even they keep Rhi safe? I can't wait for the next one to find out!
