China’s most prolific sci-fi writer, Cixin Liu, adds to the New Weird genre in this short story, The Poetry Cloud. Without giving too much away, I’ll say: dystopia, god, poetry, technology, and humanism all interact and coexist in this in various ways you would never expect.
