Forget cozy candles, here we are turning up the heat with some spicy wax play / temperature play 😏🕯️🔥 This list was totallyyyyy not inspired by boredom, too much imagination, or the fact that there are currently candles everywhere as decoration 🤭🙈 At the moment it only has books with (candle) wax play, but considering this is pretty niche and there aren‘t thaaaat many books, I am totally open to recs with any kind of temperature play 🕯️🧊🌶️

This is basically my personal dark romance list, mostly books I’ve read and genuinely enjoyed, plus a few that are sitting on my TBR because I keep seeing them recommended everywhere. If you’re into morally grey characters, messy relationships, and stories that definitely cross the line a bit, you’ll probably find something here.

Just a heads up though: dark romance can get really heavy, so definitely keep an eye on trigger warnings before jumping in. Some of these books don’t hold back at all.
