Based on my favorite podcast Rereading the Revolution. The hosts reread and recap popular 2000s-2010s novels from Divergent to Looking for Alaska.

The list is in order of oldest episodes to most recent. I will try and update when new episodes drop.

These are the books I either couldn’t finish or probably should have given up on earlier. Whether it was because they just didn’t click, felt too slow, or didn’t live up to the hype, sometimes books just don’t vibe, and it’s okay to let them go.

All things written by Tahereh Mafi. Tahereh is an Iranian-American Author, best known for her YA dystopian series Shatter Me. She has many great books both in YA and middle grade that also spread across multiple genres.

She is also a mom to her young daughter with husband Ransom Riggs, another fellow author.
