If you’re in the mood for a mafia read where the heroine starts out as sorta innocent and clueless, this is it. She’s likable, hard-working, driven, ambitious—just doesn’t realize who exactly she is surrounded by for a bit. And when she finds out, she’s resistant … at first. Obviously this is a vibe.
Written in dual, first-person, POV.
Set in the office—a hostile environment at that.

This installment was okay—it ended rather abruptly and didn’t pack the suspense I expect from a mafia read.
