This was... bad. Honestly, the rating might be a little generous.

I did like the ending. It was super vague and not really a HEA and you don't see that often in YA so that was okay.

The characters were awful. They were all whiney and bitchy and just kind of dumb. The plot was minimal at best. I mean it had an ending and the rest of it was just . . . there.

I think one of the worst parts was that literally hundreds of thousands of people are dying and they're all just like "ooh well. How can we beat Atlas?" Let me ask you this... once everyone in their world is dead (which is what is happening) why does it matter if Atlas is in charge? The humans are already dead. I just don't get it.

This was pretty meh all around and in some cases, it was just plain bad. I don't know if I'll read more Kate in the future.
