I honestly cannot put my finger on why this book took me longer to get through than the others. Maybe because I was reading them one after the other. It's not that I didn't like the book because I did.
I enjoyed getting to know Peabody a bit more. I have always enjoyed her humor. I am looking forward to her having a bigger role in the stories.
I really think I remember this book (this is a reread) more than the others and that may have been the problem. More than any of the other rereads so far, I could remember details that kind of made the story boring. Let me be clear, if I didn't remember "who dunnit" this story would not have been boring at all.
That being said, I am still enjoying the series and am really looking forward to getting to the point (in a few more books) that I haven't read the books yet.
