I’m on the run, and it's not a vacation. A designer by day and a pianist by heart, I traded New York skyscrapers for Yellow Point’s ocean hues to hide from the monster I once loved. A massive storm, a glass of red, and a dusty piano lead me into the arms of Blake West, an interesting mix of sexy billionaire and grumpy artist with a past as fractured as my own. When my ex invades my hotel room, Blake swoops in to rescue me. But as our connection deepens, Blake faces a power struggle of his own, torn between loyalty to his work and his love of art, and of me. Sheltering in his penthouse, our lives intertwine amidst hidden battles - his deceitful business partner, my vengeful ex. I’m the one in the crosshairs though when his art studio is completely ransacked. Will love be a masterpiece we will never have the chance to create?

Neither knew how their lives would change when Elena ducked into Wests gallery and what a wild ride it is!
Blake West is a man of many talents and can be resourceful however fully embraces the moody/broody artist traits which not only gives Elena whiplash, but also infuriated me at times and know it could push Elena away. I really liked Elena and the fact that her ex literally turns up anywhere she goes is full on, she does has some false ideas that if she keeps running he will stop leading things to escalate and making you really do worry Blake isn't going to be able to protect her in the end.
