The perfect sequel to Battle Cry. Jones really manages to dig deep into the character's feelings at the current moment but also in relation to the substantial and life-changing events which occurred in the first book. The several twists and turns throughout keep the reader's interest with the eventful final chapter paving the way brilliantly for the third and final edition to this series. Overall, a really easy read which accurately explores various aspects of army and post-army life. I would highly recommend this novel and am excited to follow on with Battle Scars.
