These books surprised me with how much I ended up liking them. I was expecting a typical gay romance novel with a suggestion of a fantasy world, but these delivered. Some contain monster-adjecent love interests, but I wouldn’t classify them as monster romance as the “monsters” are typical in the fantasy world.

What it says on the tin. Monster romance. At least one of the main characters in the relationship is a monster (usually, more than just a man with pointy ears). Unapologetically gay.
