Recs if you like Black Salt Queen (Letters from Maynara, #1)...

every struggled to find actual lesbian/sapphic books when at the library or bookstore? so did I!

bc of said struggle, I started to curate a personal list of books that either has lesbian MCs and/or featured a primary sapphic romance.

i haven't read all of these, but I do try my diligence in confirming that they meet the above perimeters, since many books claim to be sapphic when they're not. this is an ever updating list, only fiction for now!

An incomplete list of fantasy works by Filipino authors and/or based on Filipino mythology.

Authors from the Philippines & diaspora no specific genres; it’s like a Pinoy library on shuffle lol

I haven’t read every book on this list, but I have finished most of the titles towards the bottom. Recommendations always welcome! Maraming salamat, mga kapwa 🤎

Tiny imprints by bookish influencers

Fantasy books inspired by Filipino culture, mythology, and history.

I got a request for a list of sapphic fiction/romances with ambiguous covers that wouldn't be flagged by their country's customs and subsequently tossed. Thought I'd post it here, in case it might benefit someone else!

queer dark historical fantasy (mostly sapphic) (not necessarily medieval but necessarily set before modern technology)

This is a list of books with some of the same vibes as the HBO series ‘The White Lotus’ has. If you’re looking for intrigue, mystery, rich people💰, or a little vacation getaway gone awry, these are the books for you!💵🪷🧘🥳

Why read an ugly book when you can read a good looking?

Books by AANHPI authors and/or AANHPI stories. I added Pinoy specifically because while I want all stories for this group I will make a point in finding stories by Filipinos or about Filipino stories. These books aren’t all that are out there. Just what is on my radar.

Fiction books set in the Philippines

Books that feature water bc I love that kinda vibe 🌊

stories against empire that feel especially relevant right now

Books with beautiful covers entirely based on my own personal tastes lol 🫶🏻

Fantasy books that are beautiful on the inside and out
