So You Want a Classical Education? Start Here.
This isn't MY list. These are the foundational texts of the Western Canon. Up until the early 1900s, these were unquestionably part of any educated person's background. Austen, Lewis, Twain, James, Sayers, Tolkien....what do you think they grew up reading that informed the genius works they created? Their masterpieces didn't materialize out of thin air. This list is by no means comprehensive, but you'll be off to a solid start.






When Gods Walked The Earth
When gods were real and heroes walked the earth, these stories were everything.
If you like The Odyssey, The Iliad, and crave more knowledge on mythological epics told around the world - this list is for you! As much as I love the existing quests and lists around Greco-Roman mythology and its retellings, it fuelled the flame to read other epics that are overshadowed by Greek/Roman/Norse mythology.
