Recs if you like The Listeners...

Country roads, take me home. Appalachia is such an interesting region of the US, and also the setting of many incredible books! Whether it be historical fiction, biographies, folklore, or just every day stories from the Great Smoky Mountains, every recommendation is welcome

i'm constantly on the hunt for more books about snails (that aren't kids books) and these are the ones I've found so far! mix of fiction and non-fiction (anything with a snail and i'm in!!) very open to suggestions even if the snail is just included and not the main theme.

Books across all genres taking place almost entirely in hotels, motels, inns, B&Bs, boarding houses, retreats, you get the point. Whether it’s a single night or an extended stay, you’re an employee or an owner, the transitory element of hotels can provide us with great stories. Sometimes it’s about getting lost, finding yourself, taking a break, healing, investigating or trying to find a way out… Recommendations encouraged

Because sometimes I just think “Wait… really?!” And all of a sudden I’m three hours deep into the history of medieval Brittany, France 😅
