Billionaire's Daughter and the Quarterback

Billionaire's Daughter and the Quarterback

Lea Vaughn

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

My dad gave me an ultimatum: work for his NFL team for two years, prove I can stay out of trouble, or be cut off. I’m less than impressed. But agree to his terms. Things could have gone smoothly, but trouble has a way of finding me. A quarterback with wandering eyes causes my boss to constantly remind me that fraternization between players and staff is strictly prohibited. It doesn’t matter that I’m the owner’s daughter. I’ll be fired. And what could be more embarrassing than getting fired from my own father’s organization? So, my days are kept professional, and my nights are spent alone. Until they’re not. His words are inviting, and his hands are enticing. And I find myself pulled into his orbit. Staying out of trouble for two years might be harder than I thought. Especially when he decides to call an audible.

Nicolette has been spiraling and her father has tried to have a stabilizing influence on her. He tells her that he is going to cut her off from his money unless she can show him that she can work with his football team and be a success. She is working when she meets Harry. They become friends even before he finds out who she is. They form a relationship, but trying to keep it on the down low so that it doesn't have an impact on the team or her father. When everything is found out, people try to make it like it's more of Nicolette's past behavior, but Harry lets everyone know how hard she has been trying to be better. He really supports her with her recovery, obviously something that she is going to be dealing with every day forever. This is a really sweet love story and a different twist of the way that these stories normally go. It was refreshing and fun!
