Recs if you like Rook & Rebel...

in progress

Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

For my favs / read, check out my other lists & shelves.

Open to suggestions for more titles.

Don't shoot the messenger.

A list of ”diet dark” books / dark rom-coms! I’m currently obsessed with these types of books!!!

Want to start reading dark romance but unsure which book to start? These are good starters before diving into more darker themes!

Need dark romance recs? 🖤🔥

Obsessive love. Toxic tension. Betrayal that tastes like devotion.

Enemies who touch like lovers. Soulmates who destroy.

Slow burns that scorch. Fast flames that consume.

Ongoing dark romance list

Books that Probably Smut has done.

Here's a list of dark romance books! It includes mafia romances, to, what I'd consider, just dark romance! It includes all books I've read (whether it's a dnf or a reread) and some that have been on my tbr for some time but seem good! Ps: I won't recommend books that portray themselves as dark romance in excuse to write/romanticise sexual violence or rape, that isn't dark romance, just authors that want an excuse to being weird.

Romances not for the faint of heart. The darker, the better.

Dark romance books with stalking as a trope

Banter is their foreplay

A collection of FemDom romances that I read and more or less enjoyed. This includes books with a 'switch' dynamic or where both mcs take turns domming, bc pickings are slim. Bonus points for men begging 🧎‍♂️, rope crafts 🪢, hungy men 👅, toys, edging/chastity, voyerism/exhibition 👀 ect. This does also include wlw romances, not just sub guys. Please check the trigger and content warnings on all of these!

A bunch of dark romance books.
