The Lost Continent (Wings of Fire, #11)

Tui T. Sutherland

Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

For centuries there have been rumors of another continent on the dragons' planet -- another land far across the ocean, populated by tribes of dragons very different from those we know. But there's never been any evidence, and most dragons dismissed the rumors as fairy tales. Until now. Because it turns out the stories are true. And the other tribes are coming.

I was disappointed in this one. Maybe because it felt like starting all over again, and there was a lot of necessary world building, but I struggled to connect with the characters at first. The book was still good, but I thought it felt like a weaker start than the second set of books, for sure. I did end up caring for the new dragons by the end, but I wasn't as curious as usual about how this volume of their story would end.
