This one was hard for me to rate...I have been waiting a long time for Blue's story. Having already met both Blue and Lizzie previously and loving both characters, this book ended up a bit disappointing for me. I still love both characters and I really enjoyed the premise. I honestly think what bothered me the most was how ashamed Lizzie was of her means of income. I'm glad that was somewhat resolved by the end of the story.
The chemistry between Lizzie and Blue was also hit or miss. Some of the scenes were sweet and funny and hot and gave me warm fuzzies. The rest were still hot, but I didn't "feel" the love, if you know what I mean. And I really, really wanted to since I feel they are truly a great couple.
I must say, I'm super glad Blue's reaction was looked at in depth and explained because he about pissed me off at one point. Luckily, he won me back later with Lizzie's dad. On the other hand, Lizzie was a bit too 'woe is me' for me. She'd be all Eeyore one minute and I'd be getting fed up with her, and suddenly she would do something to make her likeable again. A very back and forth book for me. Still good, just not great.
