This was okay …
Based on this read, I’m open to exploring more from this author and in this world …
I say just okay because, while I enjoyed the world and do think the author has a talent for world-building, I found other aspects implausible. For example, the MCs know each other for something like under 48 hours before they’re saying things like “she’s my heart and soul”, etc. I get instalove, but this was a bit heavy on the ‘insta’ part for me, I guess.
The characters were a little bland, they could do with some development, but likable.
A cute, quick read to keep me company at work and during workouts, so yes, I will likely explore more from the author, at least a bit.
3 stars.

The narration was okay, not a narrator I’d specifically seek out, but not bad.
Look, I'm still reading this but it's hard. I love some spice just like the next girl but I want some more plot. I mean, hell, she "tried" to get dressed to leave for like 3 chapters. I'm gonna "try" to read this more.
