Fake marriage with my brother’s best friend, I’m no longer thinking rationally… Richard Hollis III is a CEO legend in the body of a Greek God and my brother’s best friend. He has been getting on my nerves ever since I was ten. When his father passes away and leaves him everything, he has to get married to see a single dime of it. So, he asks me to pretend to be his fiancée. He gets his inheritance, and I get a fat payout to pay my bills. There is only one rule. It’ll be a fake marriage with no real feelings. But the rules were meant to be broken. Despite our best efforts, we found ourselves having a one-night stand and becoming attracted to each other. What was initially a simple plan become a little more complicated. His cold heart warms me, but I worry he might end our relationship right after he gets what he wants, which is his father’s fortune.

Richard needs a wife for an inheritance. Stella just got divorced which left her lost and basically penniless. They end up with a contract that is beneficial to both of them. But what happens when real feelings enter into the "fake" marriage?
I loved how both of these characters learned that sometimes what you think you want or need is totally not the thing you actually need. They act and react the way that they should, even if this not a normal situation that you would normally encounter in real life.
