Recs if you like Freedom or Death...

I created this list because I feel like Greece has been obscured by the long shadow of its classical heritage… there is more to Greek literature than the Odyssey and the Iliad. This will be updated with more books once PageBound allows a feature to transfer Greek-written titles from the Goodreads database onto here… right now it is a little tricky, as PB’s database isn’t as comprehensive as GR’s.

Books from every country for reading around the world challenge (no particular order, I might have missed some, will be updating) Feel free to suggest!

Everyone knows about the Odyssey and the Iliad but not many know that Greece has a rich history in modern and contemporary literature! This is a list of iconic pieces of contemporary and modern Greek fiction, including poetry.
