(This list will primarily be focused on contemporary stories of this nature, and not so much examples from historical romance. I feel that there is a subtle but vital distinction between someone who does not identify as queer because the concept barely exists in their culture, and someone who does not identify as queer yet is fully aware of the existence of queer people. This is not at all based on my own personal experiences, coming-out journey, and existential crises. Not even a bit.)
