A Gorgeous Villain (St. Mary’s Rebels #2)

NOTE - This book is a STANDALONE set in the world of St. Mary's. The book contains NO CHEATING. Two years ago, Reed Jackson betrayed Calliope Thorne and broke her heart. So she stole his most prized possession – a white mustang – and drove it into the lake for revenge. Now, Callie is stuck at a reform school while Reed is off at college, living his life without repercussions. Until he comes back. With him comes back all the feelings that Callie has been trying to bury: anger and heartbreak. But most of all, desire. At the sight of his beautiful but lying lips and his gunmetal gray eyes that still taunt and smolder when he looks at her. Whatever though. It’s not as if Callie is ever going to fall for her ex-boyfriend again. Or let him corner her in a bar one night and touch her, kiss her… Neither is she going to kiss him back. Or worse, sleep with him. Because that would make her naïve and foolish. Oh, and also pregnant. And there’s no way Callie is ever going to get pregnant at eighteen and with Reed’s baby, no less. The guy she hates. The guy who taught her all about heartbreak. Who might look like a gorgeous hero but really is the villain of her story.

When I read the prequel, The Wild Mustang and The Dancing Fairy, I knew I was going to adore Callie and Reed, as well as their story. And boy do I love them! Seriously, Saffron A Kent never disappoints with her writing. She writes her books so beautifully, and makes them into masterpieces. This book was so beautiful and poetic. Their story made my heart hurt and melt. Callie and Reed are THE definition of soulmates. I cannot wait to read Bronwyn and Conrad’s story. I know I will love it just as much as I loved this one. I know I says this in every review of her books, but Callie and Reed have become my favorite heroine and hero of hers. It was bound to happen after reading this heartbreaking and yet heart filling story. And don’t even get me started on baby Halo. She is so precious, I’ve got baby fever after this. Do I recommend it? Yes, yes and Y E S .

breaking dawn but make it cliché small town teenage pregnancy. you know those girls that get pregnant in high school, drop out and end up working at a fast food chain? that’s basically what this book is. and it reads like a wattpad book.

I also don’t believe that Reed and Callie make it past the epilogue. That guy is a mess and I know they breakup before Halo (what kind of name is that…) turns 6.

still a 3 stars because I read it from cover to back

The drama and forbidden vibes are running high in this one, which features a dancer and a soccer player … who has a rivalry with her brothers. Lots of potential for fun and a little bit of lowkey danger …

This was a fun listen, it packs lots of great characters and heart-wrenching moments, humor, a dancer, big dreams, two very strong leads and a bit of reform and growth.
