Esme is a bounty hunter and while she has preservation instincts, sometimes she charges into situations without thinking them through. When she is trying to capture Dante, it really turns into the reverse. There is definitely an attraction between them. When he challenges some of the beliefs that she has held her whole life, she feels like she is adrift without any backup. Dante lets her know that he will be there for her when she decides what to do. The chemistry between these two is hot and fun to read. The only complaint I have is that this story is too short!
