Recs if you like You'll Be the Death of Me...

Romance books to read for the aesthetic (usually cartoon covers because I’m trash for character art)

Just a list of books coming out in 2026 that I’m really excited for :) it will be updated as the months go by! It will be a mix of: high fantasy, romance fantasy, sci-fi, gothic, horror, lit fic, historical fiction, retellings, poetry, romance, & more!!

Covers by the amazing artist Myriam Strasbourg all gathered in one place!

There are a lot of special editions as well, but I didn’t include those.

romances that involve the afterlife with one, or both, of the MCs being ghosts, spirits, or reapers.

no vampires or dark romance, there's other great lists for those recs!

The title speaks for itself 🤝

Wanting to read something new in fantasy or romance that isn’t going to make you wait around in agony for a sequel? I’ve got you.

romance releases i’m looking forward to

A list meandering through genres for those looking for fall, weird and whimsy.

Speculative fiction about the afterlife (as a location, specifically)

they’re unforgettable

Books that take place in California

Covers I love, books I hate.

(if you love one of these, I love that for you, but this is my personal list of stinkers)
