This book is the perfect combination of action and adventure with a MM love story thrown in for good measure. Michael (Saint) is assigned a bodyguard named Rio, who was hired by his brother to protect him from their sister, who wants all of them to die because they are "sinners". Michael runs a shelter assisting LGBTQ+ youth and when his personal issues seem like they're going to put the kids there in danger, he and Rio leave to keep them safe by drawing the danger away. Spending time together away and so close leads to a lot of revelations.
The twists and turns lead to a somewhat satisfying conclusion and a happily ever after.
