Enjoyment: Quality: Characters: Plot:

This is a steamy, sexy story about a dominant hero who’s pretending to be an escort, and a sassy heroine who’s given up on real relationships. Sadie: I can’t believe I have the hots for an escort. Cole Mitchell is ripped, bearded, sexy and dominant. When he moves next door to me, I find it impossible to resist sampling the wares. But Cole’s not a one-woman kind of guy, and I won’t share. Cole: She thinks I’m an escort. I’m not. I thought I’d do anything to sleep with Sadie. Then I realized I want more. I want Sadie. Forever. I’m not the escort she thinks I am. Now, I just have to make sure she never finds out. Standalone novel with a HEA, no cliffhangers here!

Cute book that was previously part of an anthology, but does find as a stand-alone read. It's not too long, light, funny, sassy, sexy - a perfect way to spend a couple of hours.

Sadie is living a life alone, satisfied with her pets and her travel to safe places like London. She doesn't feel like there is a place in her life for a man, because they can't be trusted. There especially isn't a place in her life for a man like Cole - super hot, but he knows it, smart, funny. But when she believes that she knows he is an escort and is paid for spending time with women, Sadie decides that maybe she can take a chance.

Cole is living a lie made up by his friends when he first meets and befriends Sadie. But when he really starts to care for her, can he tell her the truth and still manage to keep her?

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my review.
