While many books on this list are what I’d classify as including “mommy issues” there are others that are more about the different perspectives and nuances of the mother-child (often specifically mother-daughter) relationship. Some books center the child, some the mother, some both.

I only recently got into reading graphic novels/comics so I am very biased when it comes to picking what to read so BE WARNED these books contain very pretty art 💯😌 Also sorry I just don't really enjoy most superhero comics 😬🤷 the art is just not it. -all suggestions welcome- Definitely for the list.... Not for my own enjoyment...
