Sophie returns home to care for her father after he has a stroke. One day she runs into a little girl who tells her that she ran away because her dad turned off her favorite show. The dad is right behind the little girl and his name is Eric. Sophie is really taken with the little girl and she asks Eric for his number so that she can check in with them later to make sure that everything is all right. Sophie even goes by their apartment to reassure them. They keep bumping into each other and eventually start a relationship. Time goes by and as he starts to feel better, Sophie's dad wants to have his friend over. Imagine Sophie's surprise when she goes to answer the door and sees Eric standing there.

This is a cute little story and the twists are interesting. There is a baby but everything seems to go positively with that. The characters act like you would expect given their situations.
