Recs if you like The First Sister...

in progress

Basically, a huge list of every book I ever heard features sapphic characters.

I have not read all of these, so I cannot be sure of the amount of the time on page of the sapphic characters or of the quality of the books.

Some of these I do not plan to read at all, since they are not my style. If you feel like a book doesn't belong here, let me know.

For my favs / read, check out my other lists & shelves.

Open to suggestions for more titles.

Don't shoot the messenger.

I'm sure some of these are already on your TBR, so might as well add some more! Let me know if I am missing any of your favorites!

i love women and nonbinary people and i think if they tore oppressive systems down things would be better for everyone :D (p.s. i would loveee reccs for this list!!! im always looking for more books like these!!!)

Books featuring nuns…

Suggestions welcome.

Queer sci-fi 💫 (Not always in space, I think I've covered most sci-fi subgenres)

Exactly what it says on the tin, books that feature queer nuns (some Christian, some of a more fantastical variety)

Books I saved from my TikTok feed that were labelled as Science Fiction!

Books where the main character is non-binary, genderfluid, or non-binary to trans.

sapphics in outer space science fiction. maybe they’re on a space ship or station, another planet or a moon. perhaps there’s a romantic pairing or maybe there’s just w|w pining. always trans+ inclusive.

I haven’t read all of these, so please drop a comment with a suggested edit or a book rec!

Gimme those space operas, science fiction babes, and interstellar bounty hunters

SFF where religion is a major part of the character work, world building, and/or a main driver of the plot.

This shall become the place where I geather all the books with nonbinary representattion / written by nonbinary authors (not sure yet if both). I have not read most of them but rather have them from lists, feel free to suggest more, or report falsly added books

Fierce women in space

All of it. I'm not sorry. Books set in outer space or involving space travel and featuring queer main characters.

Sci-fi & queer. And with spaceships, too!

For those expansive worlds you can fall into.

Books picked for Goldsboro's fantasy and sci-fi focused subscription - Fellowship! All are limited special editions that come signed and numbered, often with unique designs.

Subscription was formerly known as GSFF.

Speculative books I've recommended/gifted my father in an effort to make him read more books that aren't written by white, allocishetero (often male) authors.

List of novels + series, I think would be GREAT to see made into a movie franchise, or tv show.
