the title pretty much says it all, fic + nonfic featuring mushrooms and fungus!

If being an unreliable narrator was a crime, these characters would be in trouble

Summer reading I will be doing on a picnic blanket with fresh strawberries and a fun drink. Genre unspecified 💕 ((Any recommendations for summer-set or summer-vibes books are welcome!))

What are we willing to forget in order to survive? Do our memories shape who we are or does who we are shape how we remember things? How can we truly know if a memory is our own or if it has been planted by someone or something else? What happens when we can no longer rely on our memories?

If these kinds of questions make your heart flutter, then this list is for you. Spanning across multiple genres, these books are bound together by one common thread... memory (or the lack of it).

books that will leave you in a "what did i just read" cloud for weeks after (scifi, horror, contemporary, etc)

This is a mix of weird horror & dystopian books where you’re not sure if you’re losing your mind

I want to feel something but I also want to be a little spooked

I love mushroom-related horror, and these are all the books I have found that use spores, fungus, or mushrooms as the antithesis of the book's horror.
