With Sabre Security under fire, I have to find the truth before it’s too late. If not for my sake, then for the men that stole my heart and refuse to give it back. They say that family is forever. Ours is about to be put to the test. “Words don’t matter. They mean absolutely nothing when you’re staring into the abyss and searching for a reason not to take that short walk to oblivion”
Once again, I was completely engrossed with this story and the characters. It is nonstop darkness and pain with them all trying to find their way.
Harlow is still struggling and trying to hide her pain from the guys. She frustrated me at times in this book, but she was doing everything she could to find the answers she needed, and I’m happy that she got them and now she can try and heal.
My heart broke for Hunter. It was also great getting to know Theo more and seeing him open up about his grief and the new life he wants in their family.
I’m so glad this didn’t end on a cliffhanger, even though so much happened before the ending, I never trusted Harlow’s birth mother, but I did not expect that plot twist.
Counting down the days until the last book.
