Two Neighbors. One Meet-Cute. Samantha James prefers pixels to people. By day, she grooms dogs; by night, she dominates (or fails to) in Build-A-Battle Royale, the hottest third-person shooter on the planet. Asher Sinclair, retired pro gamer, is hiding from fame in a friend’s quiet duplex. He’s not interested in neighbors, especially not quirky dog groomers. That is, until he hears her being murdered on his first night there. With 911 on speed dial and a hammer in hand, Asher charges in to save the day… Only to discover Samantha is just in the middle of a virtual showdown. No unalivers here, unless you count the avatars on her TV screen. Cue the most epic misunderstanding ever, and watch as gaming noob meets ex-pro in a hilarious, heartwarming, and shockingly steamy clash of controllers and chemistry.______This is a short novella, perfect for a palate cleanser. Romantic comedy? Light-hearted banter? It's got that in droves, despite the short page count. And if you want a little more, with a wink wink and a nudge nudge? Yeah, it's got that, too.For all the gamer girls out there. We like romance, too. Even when we're blowing heads off (or failing to)!

I'm never a fan of instant love because it's a wild thing to me, fictional or reality, but the spice was good and the banter was bantering. I always say this and I know this was only 94 pages but I can just imagine what could be in this story or what could happen if it were longer
