Have you ever picked up a book not realizing it was an erotic romance and had an eyebrow raising realization moment? That’s what happened to me with this series, but as my friend pointed out, it’s called the “Lick” series. In my defense, you never know with romance!
This series is steamy! All three novellas are centered around a club owned by three reformed mobsters. The club, Lick, is a standard club on the first floor and an aphrodisiac club upstairs. The series features menage, a little BDSM, and voyeurism (I’m sure I am missing some). I really loved all of the strong heroines and I also really liked the friendship between the three men. All of them got the chance to tell another “ hey, pull your head out of your ass”. This book has all of Simone’s signature dirty talk and her humor that has made me a permanent fan! I would highly recommend it and if I had to choose the second novella is my favorite in the series.
