“I wasn’t ready for this. Hannah deserved a man who was whole, not a broken shell. But I couldn’t resist her. Couldn’t resist this. It felt too good. And would that be so bad? To have something that felt good for once?” Leo Miles came home broken—wounded and scarred. It’s been five years, and he hasn’t left his family’s land. Not once. It’s not much of a life, but the way he looks now, he prefers to stay hidden. His only reprieve is her voice. He puts on his headset, logs in to his game, and she’s there. They talk while they play, sharing everything but personal details. She’s his best friend—his happy place—even though he doesn’t know her real name. Until one day, he hears a voice he recognizes. Meeting Hannah Tate in person rocks the reclusive Leo’s world. And discovering she’s in trouble—serious trouble—changes everything. Hannah is Leo’s every fantasy come true. And the badass gamer girl is determined to break through his defenses. But between the mess that is his life, and the threats to his family’s safety, he can’t be anyone’s hero. Least of all hers. But maybe they both need saving. Author’s note: A wounded hero who’ll squeeze your heart. A girl in trouble. And the family who won’t let either of them down. The Miles Family is best enjoyed in order.

“Yeah, but I’ll do it again and do it right. I just want you to know, I want everything with you. I want you forever, no matter what.”
okay finally read hidden miles, finally saw leo having the happy ending he truly deserves! hannah was so sweet and so understanding truly the best woman ever, the way she cared for leo and how strong she really is, is just so beautiful, after what she been through being that string for herself and leo at the same time?? out of this world amazing i don't care!! their friendship was amazing but their development to romance was so good and kinda felt like it was always there ever since they met through games!! it was good seeing leo face his fears and getting better, there's still work and there always be eork to do but he's getting there and he has his family and hannah to help him! finally their dad got what he deserved it so there's that! i am intrigued to read shannon's and ben's story i mean, the man has been in love with her since ever, you can totally see it!! but yeah it took me a while to read hannah and leo's story but i did it and i have no regrets, it was beautiful and good!!
“Marry you?” she asked. “Yes, I’ll marry you. And not because I’m pregnant, either. I think I knew I wanted to marry you about five minutes after we met. I love you, Leo Miles.”
“I love you so much. You deserve everything. And I’m going to spend the rest of my life giving it to you.”
So good to see Leo get his happily ever after. He was the "Hidden" Miles because he stayed hidden from the world. Throughout the series, he was seen as the recluse of the family. He wouldn't leave the family property after being terribly burned while serving in the military. His family feared they were losing him more and more each day. But we find out that Leo isn't quite as lonely as it seems. He's an active online gamer and has friends online, one special friend in particular. When they accidentally run into each other in the real world, it's the start of a beautiful love story.
I really enjoyed this story, but there were parts that I admit I didn't love. When the inevitable "drama" comes between them, I'm not crazy about how Hannah handles it. I mean, I get there was a lot going on with her as well, but still. She had helped Leo overcome a lot but he still had struggles apart from what most other people had to deal with and deserved a bit more leeway and understanding. Especially since a lot of the "drama" as a lack of communication/misunderstanding anyway.
But that was just a small part. The rest was a sweet love story between two people who needed each other more than they realized. They saved each other and out of that, a beautiful love was born.
As usual, Cooper was the star of this book. I love his character so much. This series would not have been the same without him.
